Refund and Returns Policy

Your satisfaction is important to us.
This policy explains when return or replacement is allowed for brake pads and automotive parts sold on our website.

1. What Can Be Returned?

Returns are accepted ONLY if:

  • You received a damaged product

  • You received a defective product

  • You received the wrong item

These must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

2. What Cannot Be Returned?

We do NOT accept returns if:

  • Wrong product ordered by customer

  • Brake pads have been used or installed

  • Product packaging is opened or missing

  • Product shows signs of wear, dirt, grease, or installation marks

  • You changed your mind after purchase

Installed brake pads cannot be returned under any condition.

3. Return Request Process

To request a return:

  1. Email us at sales@brakepads.nz

  2. Share:

    • Order ID

    • Product images/videos

    • Unboxing video (if available)

    • Reason for return

Our team will review within 24–48 hours.

If approved:

  • We will arrange a pickup OR

  • You may need to ship it back depending on your location

4. Refund Process

Refunds are processed only after:

  • The product is inspected

  • Its unused condition is confirmed

Refund timeline:

  • 3–7 business days for original payment method

  • Store credit issued instantly (if chosen)

Refund may be rejected if:

  • Product is used

  • Product is damaged by customer

  • Wrong item is returned

  • Packaging is incomplete

5. Replacement Policy

Replacement is provided if:

  • You received a damaged or defective product

  • Wrong fitment provided due to our mistake

Replacements depend on stock availability.

If the item is out of stock, refunds will be initiated.

6. Order Cancellation

  • Order can be cancelled BEFORE dispatch

  • Once dispatched, cancellation is not possible

  • Refund for cancelled orders is processed within 3–5 business days

7. Courier Damage Protocol

If the item arrives damaged:

  • Report within 48 hours

  • Provide photos and unboxing video

  • Damaged parcel claims must follow courier guidelines

Failure to report on time may result in rejection.
